The Department of Heritage Services has appointed a Principal Archivist to fill the post vacated on Colin Johnston's retirement.
Richard Meurnierwas
educated at Clifton College and took a degree in History at the
University of York, and an MA in Management and Informational studies at
UCL.
He
has recently been Archivist to Queen Mary's University in London with
responsibility for the archives and heritage assests of St.
Bartholemew's Hospital, the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and
The Royal London Hospital Museum.
Mr
Meunier has managed a number of major Wellcome Trust projects and has
experience in dealing with enquiries from the public, curating
exhibitions, digitisation projects and website development.
The HBRG very much looks forward to meeting Mr Meunier and working with him and his staff in years to come.
