Synopsis
Of all the Victorian architects designing in Bath, Henry Edmund Goodridge (1797-1864) was perhaps the most stylistically innovative. This talk will explore his career from Beckford’s Tower and villas on Bathwick Hill to a mausoleum for the Duke of Hamilton and his final works in partnership with his son, including the Elim Church building where the talk will be held.
